I got a tattoo to

remind me of your

smile in the curve of the L

and the Y.

Ink to stain

the permenance of your absence

onto my skin

as it is on my heart.

The words a secret

reminder that only a few see

to Love Always.

To remain, to the core,

an advocate for the words you said,

the faith you spread

and the impermanance,

the prominence

of both.
